What audience is it aimed at? Why?

The show is aimed at a mainstream, adult audience as it shows mature elements of comedy and mainly makes use of celebrity guests that are liked by adults.

Why is it on at that time and on that channel?

The show is on at 21:30 as at the main people that are watching TV at this time are of an adult, mature audience. Therefore, the show has a time that maximizes the amount of people within the target audience that will be watching.

Is it on after the watershed? Why?

The show is on after the watershed, as it means that it can make the most of the mature comedy style it uses. With it being after, it means that they can utilize elements of transgressive humour such as swearing, references to sex etc. These will make it appealing for the older audience and so they are more satisfied.

What is the audience demographic?

The audience demographic are people that are mainly over the age of 16, often middle class. The audience would likely be in the B/C1 categories.
